Founded in 1900, Zion Lutheran Church has been serving the Manning community for over 100 years. We love proclaiming the message of salvation in Jesus Christ to the world, starting right here in our own community. We worship Jesus every Sunday morning and we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.
All our teachings and doctrines come from the Bible and we offer several opportunities during the week for you to encounter God and His love for us in Jesus. Through Bible study at church, in homes, and in some community businesses, you can learn about our Savior and His redemptive reign. Zion offers adult instruction opportunities regularly for individuals interested in joining our fellowship and for members interested in rejuvenating their faith. Together we celebrate what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
Children are a major focus of our congregation’s ministry, as Zion has an active Sunday school and Midweek education program to assist parents in teaching God’s Word to their children. Zion also maintains a Christian preschool which offers children structured activities in a Christ-centered environment. And we welcome children in worship and we celebrate their voices.
Zion rejoices to be a congregation of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. With 6,000 other congregations nationwide, we sponsor missionaries throughout the world, promote Christian education in our nation and abroad, and walk together to spread the Good News of Jesus in our own communities.
Zion Lutheran Church is here to share Jesus with you!
